Friday is here, and so is your collection of the day’s best price drops. First, we track down one of the lowest prices ever on Google’s Pixel 8/Pro smartphones, starting at $412 in open box condition, or $550 new. Latest Google Pixel 8/Pro smartphones now up to $420 off, starting at $412

Similar to what we saw with this morning’s Pixel Tablet deal, there are now some even lower prices for the latest Pixel 8 and 8 Pro smartphones. Current summer deals are indeed available at both Best Buy and Amazon, with the unlocked Pixel 8 starting at $549.99 up from the usual $699, and the Pixel 8 Pro now starts at $749 from the usual $999, but Best Buy is now offering some even lower prices. Not only can you save extra $100 if you buy the device unlocked and connect it to a carrier during the checkout process, but its “excellent” open-box listings also serve up some great deals on Google’s latest — some of the best, in fact. Head below for a breakdown of the deals.

The true value of Best Buy’s open box listings is with the Obsidian models in excellent condition highlighted below. You’re looking at savings of up to $422 and some of the lowest prices we’ve ever tracked for Google’s latest flagship smartphones.

Google Pixel Tablet with Charging Speaker Dock Now $370 (Reg. $499)

While Google’s summer sale continues with notable deals on the Pixel 8 lineup and more, we’ve now spotted an even bigger deal on the Google Pixel tablet. Although you can estimate the table of your own tits starting from 319 dollarsthe regularly $499 full Pixel Tablet with Speaker Dock charging bundle is now on price $369.99 Originally Shipped on Woot. Otherwise, a $6 shipping fee applies. Today’s deal is $129 in savings, coming in at $49 off the summer sale price, and the best we can find anywhere. This offer is also $10 off our previous mention in this bundle from May. Google is certainly trying to make the tablet more affordable by ditching the speaker combo, but today you can get both the tablet and the speaker for less than the usual price of just the tablet — the charging speaker dock costs $129 by itself. Check out our hands-on review.

New low scores for Hisense’s latest 144Hz 65-inch U7 Google Smart TV

Hisense Google Smart TVs have been a popular option here for the past few years, and the new 2024 models are starting to see some big price drops. Offers for Hisense 2024 Smart Google TV model:

Save up to $250 on premium Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Bespoke editions from $350

As I said earlier, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is my personal favorite, and the only thing that beats it are custom configurations. They tend to fetch a much higher regular price than the standard models, but again we’re tracking some seriously deep deals for the 47mm models on Amazon. You’ll find the black case model with the Hybrid Camel band or the black metal link bracelet next to it $250 off with prices from $349.99 shipped. The metal bracelet usually sells for $600 and the hybrid camel for about $450. Both options match our previous mention and even come at a lower price than you’ll find on the standard models direct from Samsung – they sell for $400 there, but you’ll find them priced at $370 from the usual $430 at Amazon.

The latest USB-C Backbone One for Android now a rare $80, more

The Backbone One is easily among, if not, the best mobile gaming controller on the market, and the deals have arrived. We haven’t tracked down as many price drops on the latest USB-C model for both Android and the latest iPhone models, but Amazon is now offering the 2nd Gen USB-C Backbone One Mobile Gaming Controller down $79.99 shipped. This deal includes both the white PlayStation edition and the black Xbox-style model at a discounted price. Regularly $100, these Android and iPhone 15 controllers are now marking a solid 20% price drop to make it the lowest price we can find, matching our mention from early spring — the only other time it’s dropped this much low in 2024. Outside of short-lived Black Friday and holiday deals last year at $10 less, that’s on par with the best deals we’ve seen.
