Well, Father’s Day has come and gone. I hope everyone had a wonderful time, whether you’re a dad or just have a dad, or even if – maybe especially if – you don’t have one in your life, I guess that can be a bit difficult on a day like Father’s Day. I hope you had a good day. I love Father’s Day now because my teenage kids always want to do things on their own, but on Father’s Day (and my birthday later this week) they have no excuse not to watch movies with me. I miss when they were little and just wanted to spend time with me all the time. It’s funny how we can take this for granted when we are young parents and overwhelmed.

Ah, enough of the bitter. i saw From the inside out 2 this weekend and one of the funnest parts was the new emote, Nostalgia, which would pop up briefly before being dismissed by the other emotes. “Too soon!” they exclaimed. All today’s Strands answers

They’re pretty straightforward once you have SPANGRAM, unless you’ve never played board games before.

If you need further assistance, spoilers below!

Here is the full list of words:

  • MONOPOLY
  • CLUE
  • WE ARE SORRY
  • BATTLESHIP
  • PROBLEM
  • RISK

Today’s thread breakdown

I love board games and have played all of these, though not many of them for a long time. Once I found the CLUE, I immediately found the SPANGRAM and everything else fell into place until I was left with only RISK and PROBLEM. I didn’t see the “R” for RISK for the longest time and it put me off, but once I did it was easy enough. Of those, I’d say CLUE and MONOPOLY are my favorites, although I’ve enjoyed a lot of SORRY games. RISK has always been a game I thought I would enjoy more, but I feel like it needs more depth in its combat mechanics to really shine. BATTLESHIP is dumb luck. TROUBLE is the game I’ve played the least. I have enough problems in my life already.
