Call of Duty’s Fallout Crossover Dresses Price, Ghost, Soap, and Gaz in Vault Dweller Skins – IGN

Activision has detailed the Call of Duty crossover Fallout and confirmed a release date of June 20, 2024.

The merger of the two Microsoft-owned franchises sees Price, Ghost, Soap and Gaz of Task Force 141 donning Vault Dweller skins. There are Vault-Tec themed weapon blueprints and other Fallout themed items for use in Modern Warfare 3, Warzone and Warzone Mobile.

The Fallout: Vault Dwellers in-game event goes live from 10am PT on June 20th to 8am PT on June 26th. The Tracer Pack: Fallout Vault Dweller Bundle includes two Fallout-themed weapon blueprints featuring Vault-Tec Tracers and VATS Death Effect.

Here are the details according to the Call of Duty blog:

Equip the “Vault-Tec Approved” M16 Weapon Blueprint with two aftermarket parts: the JAK Cutthroat Stock, offering an unmatched combination of speed and aiming stability, plus the JAK Patriot Conversion Kit, which transforms the M16 into a fully automatic rifle with superior recoil control and stability the target when shooting.

Accompanied by a 45 Round Mag plus two attachments improving handling and recoil control, this is the perfect weapon for lasering enemies from a distance.

For closer combat, choose the “Atomic Disintegrator” HRM-9 Weapon Blueprint, tailored for sustained close combat. With 50-round drum magazines plus thermal target identification, improved accuracy and recoil control, and extended range, this SMG configuration is ideal for aiming a competition-capable sight at mid-range.

The Fallout Pack also includes a ‘Vault 141’ operator skin for Price, Ghost, Soap and Gaz plus six loading screens and more. The full list of included content is as follows:

The Fallout: Vault Dwellers event, meanwhile, features multiplayer, zombies, and Warzone challenges. Here are the details:

Use any of the Vault Dweller skins during the Vault Dweller event for an extra XP boost. Earn additional Fallout-themed cosmetic items such as a large New California Republic decal, a Nuka-Cola Caps emblem, a Slocum’s Joe sticker, a Nuka-Cola mascot, and a Nuka-Cola Quantum camo weapon.

Activision has gone big on Call of Duty crossover events in recent years, with everything from Warhammer 40,000 to Gundam seeing skins and weapons in the game. The Fallout bundle comes on the heels of the breakout success of Amazon Prime’s Fallout TV show, which has fueled interest in all things post-apocalyptic.

This Fallout crossover, as well as the recent Gundam event, were discovered in a datamine from May, which also found evidence suggesting that The Crow content is on the way. This is clearly designed to coincide with what is to come The movie “The Crow”. starring Bill Skarsgård.

Modern Warfare 3 continues to receive updates as Activision prepares to launch Black Ops 6 in October. Activision is expected to move on from last year’s shooter to focus on new seasons for Black Ops 6 and Warzone later this year.
