It’s that time of year again when the weather gets a lot hotter and so do the deals on video games, especially those on PC.
The Steam Summer Sale is now underway, which is great news for fighting game fans looking to save big on the latest big releases and discounts on 100 titles plus DLC.
This, of course, includes games like Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat 1 and Tekken 8, the latter of which is now only available for sale for the second time.
What’s more, these deals match their best discounts on the big three, as well as their Deluxe Editions and the first year of DLC, so now is probably the best time to grab them before Black Friday / Steam’s Autumn or Winter sales .
Some other highlights are Guilty Gear Strive with the Season 3 Pass, which is now also discounted, along with Under Night In-Birth II [Sys:Celes] and most other notable releases of the last few generations.
However, there are still a few exceptions, including a few that fans may be a little disappointed not to see here.
The biggest ones not joining the fun are Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, The King of Fighter 15, Samurai Shodown (now that they have flashbacks) and Tekken 7, interestingly enough.
PlayStation is also running a mid-year sale right now, and while it’s not as extensive as Steam, it’s offering some good discounts on fighting games as well.
