The leak to end all leaks: Gorgeous new images of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in all colors

If you previously thought you’d seen everything Samsung plans to unveil at its massive Unpacked event on July 10, a series of new leaks from Evan Blass at Substack may prove you haven’t actually seen anything yet.

While there are obviously no new and never-before-seen devices here, these fresh images of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 show off the two upcoming foldable devices with completely unprecedented detail and unmatched quality in a total of seven paint jobs (between the two).

Without further ado, we give you…

Z Fold 6 in all its glory!

Have you ever seen anything more beautiful than this new folding book with a pink cover? Of course, the tint could probably have been a bit brighter, but we’re guessing Samsung didn’t want to risk crossing the invisible line of stickiness.

The silver shade, meanwhile, is admittedly a little boring and instantly forgettable, but that’s where the navy comes in, aiming to turn the heads of people who might not be impressed by the visual qualities of the aforementioned pink. .. quite obvious reasons.

Today’s gorgeous high-definition visuals naturally also put the spotlight on Galaxy Z Fold 6The rear-facing camera lenses have been redesigned, as has not been previously leaked, and the same goes for sharper edges on that massive main display, creating an overall boxier look than that of the curvier Z Fold 5.
Ultimately, liking or hating this redesigned aesthetic will come down to everyone’s personal tastes and sense of style, and meanwhile the widely rumored Z Fold 6 specs seem objectively repetitive and unimpressive:
  • 7.6-inch main Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate technology and 2160 x 1856 pixel resolution;
  • 6.3-inch secondary Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with support for a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 2376 x 968 pixels;
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor;
  • 12 GB of RAM;
  • 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options;
  • 50MP + 12MP + 10MP triple rear camera system;
  • 4MP camera below the display;
  • 10MP lid camera;
  • 4400mAh battery with 25W charging support;
  • 153.5 x 68.1 x 12.1 mm dimensions (folded);
  • 153.5 x 132.6 x 5.6 mm dimensions (unfolded);
  • Weight 239 grams.

The Z Flip 6 is stunning in yellow, mint, blue and silver

Yes, this as-yet-unannounced Android clamshell looks familiar. A lot familiar. Almost completely unchanged from last year’s Galaxy Z Flip 5. But is that really such a bad thing when you say that the Z Flip 5 is simply objectively one of the most beautiful mobile devices in the world right now?

These “leaked” new images offer a resounding no as the answer to that question, showing an undeniably gorgeous upgraded flip phone with a large and rounded primary foldable screen, a large and decidedly handy display with a lid shaped like a good old-fashioned folder, two revised rear cameras with large rings around them and an unchanged side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Could it be that Samsung is deviating from the general design language of the Z Flip 5 to produce an even sleeker and better looking Galaxy Z Flip 6? Maybe, but sometimes it makes more sense to not try to fix what isn’t broken and instead focus on offering the following spec sheet with fairly significant upgrades over Galaxy Z Flip 5:
  • 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display with a resolution of 2640 x 1080 pixels and 120Hz refresh rate technology;
  • 3.4-inch Super AMOLED roof screen with a resolution of 748 x 720 pixels;
  • 165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm dimensions (unfolded);
  • 85.1 x 71.9 x 14.9 mm (folded);
  • Weight 187 grams;
  • Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor with CPU clock speed up to 3.39 Ghz;
  • 50MP primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture;
  • 12MP secondary ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture;
  • 10MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture;
  • 256 and 512GB storage options;
  • 4000mAh battery with 25W charging capabilities.
