Amazon Prime Day is here, along with new deals on Android and iOS phones. Old favorites are marked down alongside some of the latest models, and you’ll even find flip phones. Whether you get your phone from Apple, Samsung, or Google, there’s something here for you.
Prime Day iPhone deals
iPhones are rarely sold by third parties, so the choices here are a bit tighter than with Android phones. Still, you can save a few hundred dollars if you stick with the older models. Just notice this Apple Intelligence currently only fixed for iPhone 15 Pro and newer.
iPhone 13: Best Buy is currently selling the iPhone 13 with 128GB of storage starting at $449, down from $629. You’ll have to pay $579 to buy it unlocked as opposed to carrier-linked, but that’s still a bargain compared to the $599 minimum you have to spend on buy from apple.
iPhone 14: Like the iPhone 13, Best Buy’s iPhone 14 deal has the 128GB iPhone 14 starting at $504, down from $729. Like the iPhone 13, the unlocked version costs a bit more at $654, but it’s still cheaper than $699 minimum at Apple.
iPhone 14 Plus: Rounding out Best Buy’s iPhone offerings is the iPhone 14 Plus, a larger-screen cousin of the iPhone 14 that’s otherwise identical except for battery life. It starts at $604, down from $829, though you’ll have to pay $754 for the unlocked version. iPhone 14 Plus starting at $799 when purchased from Apple.
Prime Day Samsung Galaxy deals
Samsung has some of the most generous Prime Day deals around, including discounts on current-generation phones
Samsung Galaxy S24/S24+/S24 Ultra: All three models of Samsung’s current-generation Galaxy S24 are on sale on Amazon right now, with the base model going for $599 (down from $799), the larger screen + model going for $749 (down from $999), and the top-of-the-line Ultra cost $1049 (down from $1419). Even better, they all come unlocked.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5/ZFlip 5: Both of Samsung’s latest-generation foldable devices are on sale, making the premium you pay for a foldable screen a little more bearable. While these aren’t Samsung’s latest foldable phones, they still have folded flat designs and Galaxy AI. The Z Fold 5 starts at $1,149 (down from $1,799) and the Z Flip 5 starts at $579 (down from $999).
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: If you’re fine with an older generation phone, Samsung’s Galaxy S23 FE is also on sale, making the S23’s specs as cheap as possible without compromise. You’ll still get 128GB of storage and even Galaxy AI here, so there’s a lot to love.
Prime Day Google Pixel deals
Like Samsung, Google has generous sales on even current-gen models ready for Prime Day, even on its Pixel Fold.
Google Pixel 8a/8/8 Pro: All current-generation Google Pixel 8 models are on sale from budget oriented 8a to premium 8 Pro. They all come unlocked, though certain AI features are only available on Pro. The Pixel 8a costs $449 (down from $499), the 8 costs $499 (down from $699), and the 8 Pro costs $759 (down from $1,059).
Google Pixel Fold: Google’s first-generation foldable is getting a pretty hefty Prime day discount, down to $1,199 from $1,799. It comes unlocked and has 256GB of storage, although its specs are a bit behind the 8 Pro.
Google Pixel 7a/Pixel 7 Pro: Most of the last-gen Pixel 7 series are also on sale, although the base Pixel 7 somehow seems strong without a discount in most stores. You’re better off with the Pixel 7a, down to $249 from $499, or the Pixel 7 Pro, down to $419 from $899.
