Research thoroughly or risk being left behind

If you’re thorough in your research like we told you to (don’t let us down!), you should have enough materials to almost fully upgrade one weapon before you finish the first map of the game. This can be a significant help for what lies ahead.

Be fruitful and multiply your… reputation

By performing certain actions or defeating your enemies in different ways, you will increase your battle multiplier (and therefore your total earned reputation) since your last cash-in.

You can cash out your reputation at any time by holding left on your D-Pad, giving both of you the main earned experience and the multiplied sum. However, if you take damage at any point before cashing this in, you will only get the base amount of experience and reset your combat multiplier.

With that in mind, push your luck against enemies with predictable or easy moves that you feel completely comfortable fighting without taking damage. However, if you’re about to fight a boss or a difficult enemy that you’re not sure you can avoid or counter perfectly, you should probably go ahead and cash in your reputation rather than risk losing so much well-earned experience.

Explore, prepare, execute

You will get the archer’s musket just a few hours after starting the game. This long-range weapon can be used to snipe the heads of enemies from afar, so be sure to scout out new areas for enemies that may be lurking above you and take them out with a well-aimed headshot – which usually kills them one shot kills.

However, this musket isn’t just useful for fending off enemies waiting above you. If you’re approaching an area densely populated with enemies on the ground, stand back and look around to see if there are explosive barrels nearby that you can shoot to gain the upper hand before engaging them in melee combat.

Constantly use Enki in battle

Enki is not alone with you Flintstone key– it’s a vital part of your toolkit. By using his curse attacks constantly in combat – especially against stronger armored enemies – you’ll build up their first meter, eventually allowing you to unleash a powerful critical attack. Additionally, Cursed Stones, items you’ll find as you explore, can be equipped to Enki, giving him additional status effects to apply when using his attacks in battle. Applying these status effects to your enemies can make it much easier to take them down, effectively ensuring that your adventure through Flintlock is significantly less stressful.

Flintstone key creates a way more accessible experience compared to other similar souls out there. However, you should take advantage of every possible opportunity when it comes to finding new gear and fighting more effectively in every battle.
