A new iPhone is coming – and we have a pretty good idea of what it’s going to be.
So brace yourselves, Apple fans.
September is likely to see the launch of the iPhone 16.
We won’t know for sure until the big day, but thanks to leaks, rumors and a bit of educated guesswork, there’s plenty to look forward to.
What we do know for sure is that the iPhone 16 will run Apple’s new iOS 18 software.
That’s because the company announced it earlier this year and it’s expected to launch on the new iPhone.
This means that at least some versions of the iPhone 16 will have something called Apple Intelligence.
This is an AI feature that allows you to create custom AI emoticons and even generate illustrations of your friends and family.
You’ll be able to ask ChatGPT questions directly using Siri and speak to Siri in a much more natural way.
The new update also lets you change the color of app icons on the home screen and place them outside of the usual grid order.
And you can schedule text messages and more.
FRESH APPLE
As usual, we will probably see the iPhone 16 in different sizes.
This usually means two cheaper ones modelsplus two more expensive and more powerful Pro units.
There is no evidence that the format will change, there is also talk that the Pro models may grow slightly in terms of screen size.
We also expect to see Apple switch to vertical lenses on the iPhone 16, instead of the current camera arrangement that shifts them diagonally.
Hopefully, this will mean that the regular iPhone 16 models can capture the fantastic 3D spatial video that you can watch in Apple’s Vision Pro headset – just like the current iPhone 15 Pro.
We’re still likely to see a range of colors on all four iPhone 16 models, though the Pro devices were rumored to get a new Rose option.
LARGE BUTTON
The iPhone 16 is expected to get the action button that replaces the mute switch.
We saw this on iPhone 15 Pro last year. It’s a great feature because you can have it do almost anything—open the camera, launch Shazam, or call your mom for OK chat.

A big improvement will come in the form of a brand new processor.
This year we’re expecting the A18 chip, which is likely to bring some improvements in performance and battery life – as well as a bit more computational weight to power some of the new AI Characteristic.
We don’t have pricing information yet, but we’re expecting roughly similar retail prices to last year.
I previously predicted the iPhone 16 release date in another video and I’m sticking with it here.
Expect an unveiling on Tuesday, September 10th, pre-orders on September 13th, and an in-store release on Friday, September 20th.
Mark your calendars because it’s going to be big.
